Cost Segregation – Manufacturing

A recent Cost Segregation study for a manufacturing client allowed us to reclassify $904,768 of the building’s cost into shorter depreciation class lives under our Speciality Tax Services. The first year cash value of this study is $62,157 and the 5 year cash value is $269,042. Now the client can also take advantage of partial asset disposition by expensing future repairs and renovations because she has an itemized cost basis for her building. 

Cost segregation is one of the most valuable tax strategies available for commercial property owners and developers.
