Shopping Plaza Cost Segregation Study
For a shopping plaza cost segregation study completed this week we were able to obtain the following results: basis reclassification- we were able to reclassify 11.6% into 5 year & 20.13% into 15 year. The project’s overall basis was $3,428,000 and we were able to reclassify $1,087,704 of the property’s costs into these shorter depreciation class lives under our Speciality Tax Services. The client was also able to take advantage of 100% Bonus Depreciation as well for this project which made tremendous difference.
