Cost Segregation Strip Shopping Plaza
This week for a strip plaza Cost Segregation study that was completed we had the following results: basis reclassification- we were able to reclassify 14% into 5 year & 12% into 15 year property. The project’s overall basis was $2,656,000 and we were able to reclassify $690,560 of the property’s costs into these shorter depreciation class lives under our Speciality Tax Services. The client was also able to take advantage of 100% Bonus Depreciation as well for this project.
